Plugins Posted on 2018-08-20 by Thaer Irvin

This week is all about plugins.

Learning to use the plugins we have in order to create sound from a sine wave is a wonderful project.

Another project I have been working on is a SFX library. I had to do some converting of files to make them .wav and save them for later. In the process I learned something about the clips list vs the edit window. The files you save (SHIFT + OPTION/ALT + K) are, unlike the bounce, not related to what is selected in the edit window. They are all the selected clips on your clip list. Actually, you don't need to make any tracks at all. Just drop the files into the clips list and export them. This information would have saved me loads of time this week. I'm not even sure that how clips work was ever covered. I learned this week the difference between ADD and COPY clip. This is good info to know.
