Lesson 2...Was pretty easy.  I didn't really have any questions this time around, but luckily Steve brought some fun music to "dissect."  What I found most interesting was seeing all the different edits and adds put on the different peoples vocals.  It was fun to confirm my suspicions of who can and can't sing ;).  He showed me how to take out "annoying" parts of peoples voices.  And I don't care who they are, EVERYONE has them!  We just never hear them because they get edited out or toned down by the time we hear them on the radio! It was a bit disheartening to see people who actually did have decent voices add so much extra crap to their vocals to fit into todays "radio standard"  or whatever!  What's more, so many people add the SAME edits, which makes everyone sound obnoxious and the same! But I guess it is what it is, until someone comes along and changes the game! I really just want to get into Protools and making my own stuff!
