Chapter 5

Unfortunately this chapters class was canceled twice on me before I was finally connected as to why.  I would go into detail, but I'm over it.  The good news is that I got moved to a new studio and given a new teacher who seems WAY more invested in my experience.  Not that the last one wasn't but I think it was a matter of just having too much on his plate.  Now that I'm at The Abstract I feel like I'm already learning so much more, just from one class!  Doug and Jesse are both great guys who definitely know their stuff, but also are chill enough to understand the students perspective.  I definitely feel like I'm going to come out knowing a lot more with Doug as my teacher.  Even though I got a 100% on my quiz, I clearly don't really know the material because as we went through the lesson and he quizzed me on stuff I struggled to find the right answer.  But now that I know what to expect I can better prepare myself for class with questions and comments about the chapters and hopefully get some actual learning in!
