I'm halfway through my first week and so far I am loving it. I would never have thought I would be in the position I'm in right now.

Today, I sat in the studio, watching people work on some vocal tracks; particularly overdubbing and ad-libs. I saw how the engineer and the producer interacted with each other in tandem, both feeding off each other to create something beautiful.

Although the first chapter covered the very fundamental basics of how sound works, I still had a great time reading the chapter and discussing it with my mentor.

I am really looking forward to the future!
