Chapter 14, overlooking analog vs. digital recording and mixing has been very helpful... Better understanding compression further helps me understand EQ and all the other plugins in the puzzle. But, this chapter has mostly helped me with understanding all the nobs used within compression plugins. Also, the different compressors used for different purposes. The most interesting was the video that demonstrated how to use side chaining technique on a track. I will use these techniques on all my future recordings.
