With the amount of tracks I've recorded so far, I've actually attempted to master using Pro Tools. I did this by using a print track and plugins such as maxim and dither and seperate compressors. However I learned a few new things about mastering. The best mastering cannot be done on Pro Tools but must be sent to a professional master engineer. This is a lot of money so that isn't always an option. Therefore, I will continue to study this lesson and learn more about mastering projects for a louder and more professional sound that is relatable to top tracks on the charts.
