This chapter was a lil dry for me. I tried to read it before our session but wasn't able to get through it, so we went through it in our session. That was much more helpful for me, Im more of a hands on learner than being able to read and get it. But Steve was able to show me a few of the hardware that required the wires that were mentioned in Ch 4. I really didn't know that there all those types of wires, that did so many different things to help with recording. You have to make sure you have the right kind of cable to get the best of your recording. I mean, if you don't have the right cords you wont be able to record. Now I know the difference between a Balanced and Unblanced cable. Another thing that is VERY important that we talked about that made more sense to me during our Group Session, was Signal flow. Knowing Signal Flow will help cut time and make for a smooth studio session, making for a very happy client.
