After reading chapter three I have come to a realization. Music is not just sound or culture, but there is also a language to it. Being in the studio with professional audio engineers and reading through these chapters I’m seeing that not only do you need the knowledge, you also need to understand the lingo to truly be successful. EX. When an artist tells you they want the Hi-Hat more wet, that just means more reverb.
