Mastering Posted on 2017-10-03 by Riley Heaslip

I remeber at first thinking that the mastering process didnt seem to hard just because it seemd like there was less steps in doing so than most other processes but shortly after getting into the program i had seen how little of adjustments you have to make sometimes to get it to sound just right coming out of "loud speakers", headphones, car spekers etc. I think its crazy and cool how much your environment matters to the overall sound and how many ways you can go about making a rooms acoustics sound better. Anopther thing that i found interesting in this chapter was how CD's work with the PQ and IRSC codes and how they are encoded using LPCM.  I also found it a little humourous that artists would make an album or song louder so that to a listener, just because its louder, it will potentially make it sound better.
