Had my Third Session on November 5th. Got started at 9:30 am and finished up at 7:00 pm. Once again a great experience, learned alot and had a good time doing it. Got a chance to work seperating and storing connectors. We also discussed microphones and how they're used. How there set up and how they capture sound. On November 9th I got the opportunity to help set up for a live recording of a concert. The evening was great and it was a fantastic experience. I got to see how the microphones we talked about in the session were set up and placed for the sound and the recording. We used a ms mid side shotgun mic. A Neumann KM83 along with a Sennheiser MKH30 placed center front of the choir along with a Neumann KM84 placed on each side all spanning a lenght aproximately 1 third the total distance of the choir. For recording we used a Sound Devices 744T digital recorder.
