   I learned a lot today about mic placements. It was really good to learn how different effects can be achieved by positioning mics in various locations. Effects such as a natural reverb or achieving the feel of a room by using the Ambiance mic placement. There were different techniques of using mics as well. Different techniques to capture tones of different instruments  by the space pair, the x-y pair or the Blumelin pair technique. Overall, I've been learning a lot about mics and the importance of them.
