Chapter 10 is about plugins and processing, this chapter was a lot of help in learning the basics of engineering and how to do it on Pro Tools. It goes over different types of plugins like Waves, Native Instruments, and Universal Audio and which ones are compatible with Pro Tools and Apple products. It also clarifies inserts vs. sends, and that inserts are for dynamic and frequency based processing and sends are used for time-based effects. In the second section they show all of the compressors, delays, limiters, and EQs they have in Pro Tools. Audio Suite is another feature they go over which permenatly renders the file you make changes to. Overall this chapter was extremely helpful and these are tools that are some of the most important tools to have while engineering in Pro Tools.
