After working in the studio of National Recording LLC with Danny Zelonky, I've really been opened up to things I didn't think I'd be doing for a while. We've gone over my week one curriculum, but more importantly he's invited me down to two actual sessions to work with him and other artists. The first artist we worked with was a group called Driveway Thriftdwellers and Danny let me sit in on the entire session from 10am-6pm and I was able to learn a lot about how setting up gets done, what certain equipment can do for you, and how to bring all the sounds together in a way that works. The guys we worked with were really cool and easy to work with as well. The second artist was a weddiung band called The Mojo Daddys. That was just a quick three hour session and Danny taught me even more I didn't know and almost everyday I go in the studio I'm captivated by the fact that there's so much I can learn. I'm really excited to see what happens come week two.
