Danny and I have been talking about the textbook in great detail, but in real life scenarios as well. Talking about DI's, how different compressors change the sound you have, how in a chain of pre-amps, pedals, and DI's what you do to each individual piece will chanage the outcome of your sound. We've also discussed how important it is to know how much voltage instruments and other things put out and how to raise or lower that output when you're linking it to the mix. But I am mostly excited about the fact that Danny allowed me to bring my friend that makes music in three seperate bands to the studio and is willing to work with him!
