The time leading up to my first official week of being in the Recording Connection was exciting; I've been ready to start learning more about what I hope to make my career. Just after reading one chapter and having one session with my mentor, I've already learned so many interesting and valuable things. Some things I remember from grade school science classes like wavelengths and the anatomy of the ear; but, learning about things like phase and the history of audio recording was new and intriguing. I plan to start out by making vocal covers of songs that I like, and I know that I will be able to apply all of this new knowledge to my projects.
