Basic Audio Engineering Chapter 2: BASIC ELECTRONICS Posted on 2016-10-05 by Nate Sean

  1. Electronic circuits can be broken down into two types. analog and digital
  2. Resistance is the measure of the opposition to the flow of electricity.
  3. Alternating current is current that flows in both directions.
  4. Voltage is the measure of electromotive force in the electronic circuit.
  5. Resistance is measured in Ohms
  6. Electricity is the flow of free Electrons from atom to atom.
  7. If an atom has more protons than electrons it is said to be positively charged
  8. Analog circuits transmit voltage to components.
  9. Current is the measure of the amount of electric charge passing a point in an electric circuit per unit of time.
  10. Current is measured in Amperes
  11. V=IR is the basic representation of Ohms Law.  ?
