There is a bar close to where I live in Trenton called Mill Hill.  They have a basement where local artists including bands, rappers and DJs perform.  On Tuesdays, it's electronic music night- especially experimental electronic music.  I met Ben, the coordinator of the Tuesday night events and coincidentally, he is a fan of my music.  That was really humbling to run into someone that actually listens to and follows me on soundcloud.  

I played a 45 minute set to about 25 to 30 people in this little underground dungeon esque bar.  The people seemed to enjoy my style of music.  I played a couple of my originals, including "Zika" and "Peaceful Thugs".  

Even though there werent many people there, it was still a great experience and a way to get my name out there on a local level.  I met a lot of really cool people there and am looking forward to playing there again in the future.
