My assignment in the engine room was to go and look for different mics, research them and jot any important information about those mics down. This info had things like polar patterns, models, and types of mics. I later helped set up drums and place different corresponding mics on areas of the drum set that would produce sounds. I also worked with chords in order to route the input of the mics into the channels in pro tools.
