What an eye-opening chapter! Acoustics can really make or break you when it comes to the image the mixer has of the material he/she is working on. I can tell this topic is commonly forgetten about with many beginner engineers; but our room acoustics should be on of the main things we look to perfecting, EVEN before the gear we use. You'll never really know what you're gear is doing if you're using it in a faulty room. It's safe to say that my next investment will be more acoustic treatment!
