I had my first day in the studio this past Tuesday.  I completed several of the chapters and brought with me a track that I had just finished mixing down.  Edwin and I went over the first two chapters and discussed the basic mechanics of sound.  After going over the material we spent some time going over the set up of his studio and the basic functions of everything.  Edwin and I also listened to my pre mastered track.  He showed me how he uses compression and mastered my track.
