We were set in an empy room to build a studio like as if you were in your home and record something from a mic, midi and sample. The room had nothing but padding on the walls. We first made a list of all the basics we'd need. We gathered two speakers, a u87 mic, XLR, an XLR with a RS? on the other end, mic stands, pop filter, interface, laptop for pro tools, heaphones, hearback, table, and chairs. We used the apollo twin to keep it more organized since its much smaller. It converts Ad and da signal, mic inputs, mic preamps and headphone inputs i thinkk. We recorded vocals on the mic and put it over a drum sample we got offline. Then we added the keyboard for the midi. We've done this project several times before but I lliked it this time because it was different since we basically got to build our own studio which would look similiar to one we could make at home.
