My first lesson as a recording connection student was like a dream coming to life. Being able to be in such a beautiful enviorment such as "Mixdown Studio" in Yonkers, NY, is a great privledge. I have the plessure of working with their head producer/egineer whos name is Brian, also known as Gully. We kicked off our first lesson with a rundown on where everything in the facility is located and quickly moved on to signal flow. I have already learned how to connect microphones to the mixing board, and pro tools, through pre amps and mic panels.I can honestly say my first day was a success.
