James Njau — New York City Recording Connection

Born and raised in Nairobi Kenya, James Njau was and continues to be a Musical enthusiast. At an early age, James was playing multiple instruments in many events  for his school band (guitar drums and Piano) which led him to explore his individual talents as a music producer and urban DJ today. Once in the United States and under the moniker "DJ Prospect", James worked in over 100 venues (which included platinum artists such as Jermaine Cole (also known as J.Cole) and) Throughout his college years and upon graduation, began to focus on creating his own sound within music production.  James Initially began learning about the nuances of Studio life at Nuphlo Ent. Recording studios as the in house/ perfomance DJ which generated great interest in engineering and further perfection of production .Thus far, James Njau has been working at Jambox Recording studio while also freelancing and working continuously to perfect his sound both in production and engineering.
