I came in around 2pm on Saturday and left around 5 pm. We sat down and talked about the chapter I read for homework and the different positions around the studio, as well as music law. Then D sent me in the studio and showed me how to turn on the room and made me listen to my favorite album so I could get used to the sound of the room. Even though I was in there by myself for a long while, it was a tremendous learning experience and I realized how different music sounds in various rooms. Afterwards, we listened to a record he was doing for a high school rock band and we plan to mix and/or master for Monday at 5pm.
