Went into quad alittle earlier than usual, got in to Studio 2 with the other guys and sax (Mentor). went over lesson 1 with sax (mentor) after i finished it. he explained it really well knew alot of tnhis stuff coming in to the program so my mentor directed me to go ahead in the lessons so i wont get bored. a graduate student came by and we were in a smaller studio set up more for vocals but it is a iso box you could do acoustical recordings in there or one guitar or something but this less mainly focased on vocals. they ended up doing some rap verses and we recorded them i got a chance to watch and see how to work the compressor, and the pre-amp. my mentor showed me a litter over view of patching in lines, and all that. but again coming knowing. the studio isn't too new for me. im not on unchartered waters when it comes to the studio so it was a little easier im not sure how it would feel if not. but non-the less its a cool experience
