I learned alot in the past few weeks from XY Micing of a Guitar Amp, Setting up in the control room through DI so you can mic the Guitar in the live room and hear it through to the control room as the guitarist sits in the control room with you. I also went over in detail and learned alot about compression and how it works well now I know what to listen for and how to adjust the compression so it sounds correct and doesn't clip I felt this stuff was very very important and definetly helped me step up the reocrding process quite a bit
