Hello everyone and how are we doing on this great week this week? It's quite a hectic week for sure but I'm feeling like we'll be able to get through it this week for sure. I have been working on my latest project with Chris Jobes and his band and have been working on getting it set and together for the most part. There are a few things I have to tweak here and there but for the most part it is about 85-90% where I want it right now which is a good thing. I have other projects for sure to be working on so I need to stay on top of my game for sure.
Overall it should be finished by this weekend I'm hoping because I have a lot of time on my hands these next couple of days thankfully so I'm going to be plowing through school work and working a lot behind my machine here in the current Aquabear Recording Studio location. Thankfully it won't always be like how it is right now because it's rather cramped for the most part because there's so many things piled on top of the desk I'm using and the furniture in here is too big for this room so it seems cramped like I've mentioned before.
Things over in the studio at Boo's is fantastic though overall, I'm super glad being able to work with him and he's become a great friend and we can just talk about anything and discuss what is needed to discuss. Learning hands-on audio from him has been priceless. I do wish I didn't live so far away that I'd be able to go over there more often.
Gear talk here now, trust me you've heard me mention this all before but not having a lot of gear is really frustrating right now. I found out that I got Pro Tools 12 now to work on my Windows 10 finally but honestly, now let's just be honest here... I really and I mean really don't like it. Give me Cubase or Studio One and I will love you but Pro Tools just doesn't flow for me whatsoever. With that being said, I have Prime for Studio One 3 and I'm lacking a lot of necessary tools that I need in order to do a lot of what I'd like to be doing right now. I'll eventually get to that point though where I'd be able to afford software and a console I'm hoping. I feel kinda useless without it honestly.
