In todays music Auto Tune and Melodyne are used very heavily. Especially for upcoming artists. That being said Auto Tune and Melodyne can either help the artists or be an additional effect to the artists vocals. My mentor has helped me manage through melodyne on some vocal track I've record of my own. There are many other tools in the program it self. Like adjust the wave length or vibrato of a recorded phrase. Definetly a great plugin, i see my self using this for work heavily.
