I have watched talented artists and producers in the independent game struggle to make it for years. I have witnessed artists that i affiliate with spend thousands of dollars on A list features, beats/production, graphic design and CDs pressed, tee shirts and video production, and putting together some of the biggest concerts in San Diego at the best venues. All I saw them get out of it is a tremendous amount of respect locally and good memories, not to mention hurt pockets. It made me realize that knowing the right people can get you in the door, but its your professional persona and actual certifications that are going to determine if certain doors are going to open up for you in the industry. I also realize that your lifestyle plays a huge roll in your success. I was in a vary vary dark and stressful point in my life just 2 months ago and I thought it was to late for me. I've always told myself and people around me that all i need is somebody to just give me an opportunity and i will utilize it with a determination that cant be stopped. Push a man into a corner and he is going to loose it. Push a man that is at his lowest in a positive direction that holds meaning, he will rise above and prosper. Words cant explain how thankfully I am to be enrolled in school to get certified doing the thing i love most in this world. With that being said, I finished my first two lessons in about 8 hours and got a B and an A so far. Im over whelmed with joy and excitement and I have finally found my true purpose in life and that is to create beautiful music for the world to enjoy.
