Fun lesson. I looked forward to this one from the beginning. Learning about the Loudness War was really cool; some of favorite music was from that period. I wasn't surprised at all to see Metallica's music was very 'loud'. After seeing the chart of the relative loudness of serveral albums, I listened to Chinese Democracy in its entirety, and I really felt as though I could tell the differences in the dynamic range in that album compared to other music with very little dynamic range. My preference is with more dynamic range.  This lesson was a very cool introduction to the Mastering process in audio engineering.
