I learned about sound and hearing, waveform characteristics, and the science behind what allows us to hear. Very interesting stuff. My favorite part was Phase and Phase shift. Phase cancellation is a very compelling occurence, I enjoyed learning about it and how/why/when it can happen. It was cool to learn how phase can effect sound so drastically. Envelope was also something I found interesting; it's what truly brings instruments to life and gives them that feeling of emotion that the listener connects with. I'm so excited to start getting my feet wet in this field! My mentor Joey is great, and I'm so fortunate to have the opportunity to work with him! Let's do this.
