Chapter 13 was all about EQ. (Equalization) It was really interesting to learn what EQ can do to help your mix. Multiband EQ was my favorite concept by far. This chapter answered a TON of questions I've had about how everything in a song is mixed together to achieve balance. From getting the kick drum more punchy and helping it find its place in the mix, to the bass guitar and so on. I definitely used the Frequency Chart as a close reference; it helped me a lot. I didn't have a clue as to how drastic of a sound change EQ can produce... I've definitely enjoyed learning EQ.
