Perhaps less integral than the previous chapter, but still important, this chapter was all about time-based effects. Delay, Reverb, and other types of time-based effects. I found it very cool that we can add reverb to a snare, for example, and we can actually accentuate the punch of the snare into the mix that way. Prior to this chapter, I would've never thought reverb could be used in that way; I would have thought it was an effect that 'had its time and place to be used'. Echo chambers and plate reverb are very cool concepts as well.
