This week students were required to submit there complete version of the sinewave assignment. Basically we were given a millisecond length sinewave that was to be converted on protools to be a song of about 30-60 seconds. Easy enough, right? Until two hours in and I cannot get the beeping like sinewave out of my head. HAHAHA! Now that I completed the assignment I do have a better understanding as towards why it was given to us. It was our first mandatory assignment. It allowed us to play around with all the components protools had to offer; making students comfortable with duplication, conversion, trimmer, grabber, and so on. It was a good assignment to kick start the second half of the "semester." I am uploading the wav file of the first draft. I am going to meet with Uncle Joey in the studio today to work on some improvements on my assignment, so this is definitely not the finished product. Stay tuned.
