Today was all about reverb. As a guitar player, personally, I love using reverb when I play. It gives my guitar a nice surf sound. But there is more to reverb than making your guitar sound like Carl Wilsons from the Beach Boys. We went over the major sources of reverberation. For example, there is acoustic, chamber, spring and plate (which are artificial), and digital. One interesting note I found out today was that the effect of “Chorus” is just taking the same audio and making a tiny bit out of tune so there is a weird effect on it. Personally I don’t like this effect…..actually I don’t mind it. It just needs to be used at the right time only.
