I just finished this chapter on MIDI with another 100 on the quiz! This was a cool chapter, it really helped me a lot with understanding how to use my midi keyboard with ProTools. MIDI was the one thing I couldn't figure out by messing around with the options in ProTools, axtually. It wasn;t to hard of a lesson since I've used MIDI many times before. I do however like the MIDI edit window, that's a new concept for me. I'm curious to see what Joey has to say about MIDI. Obviously MIDI plays a huge role in recording so I'm sure Joey has a few tricks up his sleeves. I'm also excited that we get to upload or chapter 12 mix asssignment! I opted not to use any time based effects: one because I didn't really feel like the song needed it, and two, I couldn't get the send to work properly with the D-Verb so I'm gonna have to ask Joey about that. I'm excited for you guys to hear how I mixed "The Siege", my first actualy mix down in ProTools!
