Ive seen a mixing consoles in the past but didnt truly understand what they did. Now i understand that music has an array of different frequencies and when mixing a live or studio setting, managing these frequencies are very important. We can keep them from clashing and being to low or too loud. EQuing the base of all mixes is important before and after adding plugins and effects. certain effects will alter the orignalls EQed sound and its just as important to finally mix these frequencies with the band playing altogether
