This lesson was all about surrond mixing and what 5.1 surround means. 5.1 has 5 speakers and 1 subwoofer for low frequency effects. The other five speakers are left, right, center, and left and right surround. We also talked about the post production side and how you use test CDs and artwork before getting them printed. Next, we discussed duplication and replication and the proper CD sampling rate. The last thing we talked about were the ways a mix can be mastered to. Some examples were analog tape, flash drives, CDs, and DATs.
