Today I went to my apprenticeship with Joey Heier at Crystal Clear Studios, and I got to watch Joey record a vocalist in ProTools, as well as understanding how to bring in the beat made from Reason into ProTools. I watched Joey interact with the client, and learned how to make them feel as comfortable as they can, and give them the help that they need, in order to produce the best possible sound out of them. At the end of the recording session, Joey added reverb to her vocals, and mixed the volumes of the instruments to complete the first day of recording the song.
