I've scheduled my midterm for next week. I have little doubt I'll get a good score, because I feel pretty confident with the material. It always helps to review things, of course, so I've been going through a chapter in the eBook a day and doing the Section Reviews again. There have been a few minor things I've forgotten here and there, but there's also been things that make more sense now that I have context/experience. The "simplified" signal diagram in Chapter 4 actually looks simple now, I have a much better understanding of how a patchbay works after my mentor actually showed me one, and it's easier to tell the differences between microphones now that I've actually used them on tracking sessions.
If there's anything that I'm weak on, it's the more historical kinds of things, i.e who invented what in what year. But ultimately I don't feel like that'll matter all that much in day to day work.
UPDATE: Got an A! There were a few things I missed, but they were just minor details.
