My blog entries have been very sporadic for that I appologize, Its hard to find time in our ever faster moving world to sit down and write or even to just sit down and reflect. as for Automation I am just wrapping my head around it and learning tricks to do things I did in the past in longer and more difficult ways using automation to make things much easier. I will be utilizeing Automation and Elastic audio quite a bit when the need arises. I have also made some progress on my at home studio. I have purchased and recieved my Monitors and A/B'd them with Rory's at Oxiliary and they actually stood up pretty well. They of course did not have the power handeling that The Focal CMS series has especially with a sub but they did sound suprising clear in the mid range!! I think they will end up working out fantastic for me. Ill be getting my balanced cableing later today and I will be going back to remix my mix project for the past few chapters. I will mix a hip hop song and a metal/punk song as these are the two forms of music I am most familiar with. Onward and upwards though I have some playing around to do now and my home studio is almost complete I just need a Mic Stand and some acustic treatment another $100 will do the job!!
