Apparently, you're to sit down and write one of these with each chapter been completed. I don't know if it's actually required, but seeing as how I'm about a week or so from finishing my education with the Recording Connection, I figured now was as good a time as any time to start... Read More >>
Patrick Wambaugh — Portland Recording Connection
Where can I even begin? I\'m Patrick, but you can call me Packie. I\'m a born Oregonian who decided to uproot and relocate just a bit further North in Seattle where I got in touch with the Recording Connection and followed my dream of purusuing a career in music! In this life of mine thus far, music has been the only thing that made sense. From picking up the guitar when I was 14 to starting 3 different podcasts (Look up and check out Delayed Effect, Down the Bunny Hole, and the 8-Bit Packiecast), I\'ve had a lot of personal experiences with audio engineering that I knew I had to make into something. Thus, my pursuit via the Recording Connection was born!
Being that music is more than a passion of mine, I\'ve always been open to a variety of music. From classic rock to horrorcore rap, from old world blues to outlaw country, I love it all. I have always felt that all music has something to bring to the table, something which you can draw upon, whether you\'re a musician or simply a listener of the finer things aural. Of all that I\'ve experienced, Angels & Airwaves and Poets of the Fall have been the brick and mortar to my inspirational foundation. Nothing else speaks to me as greatly as their music, especially with Tom DeLonge helming one of the two. His passion for creativity is what has so greatly inspired me to follow my dreams and find a way to do what I love. Because I don\'t want to reach a ripe old age and wonder what if. This is my life and I only get one go \'round. Why not make it a good one?
