A lot has happened since the last time I blogged. That's partially why I don't blog as often as I feel that I should, but life is so busy these days that I have trouble squeezing in the time to do so. Needless to say I have some fun things to share. As of late, in the crazy moments that are my life, I have gotten a lot accomplished. First, I have continued to expand my connections in the DJ/ Music Industry. I am now meeting people in the game who are in control of events like Life and Color and are interested with working with me. On top of this, I have been asked to DJ House of Blues in Anaheim which is a huge opportunity. Next, I've been working night and day on a lot of projects and have a couple set to come out here very soon. One happens to be an original collab that my friend and I busted out this weekend. After a couple solid 18 hour days, we put together an incredible demo and are heading to the studio this Thursday to slap some vocals on it and get it mixed and mastered hopefully in the following week or two. My other track also happens to be an original and is almost done being mixed. My next step will be to master it and then promote it. After the release of these next couple songs I've decided that I'm going to intiate my "campaign strategy," which includes creating my own website with an electronic press kit as well as begin an EP and start self promoting it release while in the process of writing, mixing, etc. I feel that if I plan this right and put in the hard work that is necessary to achieving what I want, I will no doubt reach my goal of obtaining a management agency, publicist, and potentially a label. It's not if, but when.
