Lesson 3

I came to Playground Studios and watched Chaka work on a vocal editing session for a female Chinese singer ( I forgot her name). The songs were very well recorded previously. Chaka was there to correct some flat or sharp notes here and there and also cleaning up most of the stale tones. I tried to keep my opinions to myself as best as i could. I really enjoyed the music even though i could not understand it. Though this type of senario can happen for any producer.

Surprisingly, the music was good! It was very impressive. I definitely learned alot watching Chaka work. It sure does require alot of patience working with vocals. The plug-ins were very cool looking, but very complicated. Though i know this already, today was a prime example of how universal music is. It doesn't matter what language it is, you still get the same vibes and understanding to how that individual fealt writing the songs.
