Chapter twelve was a great lesson because it was a big stepping stone into everything I've wanted to do. I'm learning. Mix theory was awesome because I was always curious what the best way to mix was. I learned special ways of setting levels and panning different instruments and sounds. Every frequency needs its own place, and I'm realizing it more and more as I mix. As far as the homework assignment, I completed the first part in the studio. It was the first time I truly had the chance to sit and work pro tools myself. Chapter thirteen was a cool chapter. I've taught myself everything I know before I joined the program, and didn't have the proper knowledge about EQ. The process and variety are interesting. Being able to manipulate the frequencies in your recordings is a remarkable aspect. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to go into the studio to work on my homework, but I'm going to try and go in later in the week to add both chapters, thirteen and fourteen. Well till next time.
