On Saturday, October 8th, I went to the studio to observe a recording session with Bruce and a punk rock band. It was very interesting seeing the way things are done. There was a lot of great information and I had a long list of questions for Bruce. Though the band's music was not what I would normally listen to, I actually really enjoyed listening from a point of view that most listeners don't get to experience. We got to hear many takes, and watching it come all together is like art.
As I was mostly observing, my experience there was laid back and pretty easy. However, I can't wait until I can help out and I can't wait to feel confident enough for that! Everything is a little over my head right now, but it's been two weeks and I suspect that is probably normal at this time.
