Today I went the the studio in the morning and met up with Bruce and an acoustic guitar player. He was actually a drummer for one of the bands I observed earlier. This time he brought his acoustic guitar and was playing and singing songs that he wrote. Rather than punk rock, it was country. Bruce talked about how he doesn't like the pickups in acoustic guitars, and how he would rather mic the guitar itself. It definitely gets a very clear and beautiful sound that way. Bruce let me work with recording again, but this time I got to actually help with the sound board. I sat in Bruce's chair and started recording. It was great experience and I am so happy that I am learning so much already!
