Today I went in to the studio to discuss lesson two with Bruce. We discussed what I learned about electricity and it was very interesting! At first, I washaving a hard time understanding the material, and why it was extremely significant, but seeing it in real life situations always turns the light bulb on. After an hour or so of talking about chapter two of the lesson, a punk band came in to be recorded. It was really neat. The band already had recorded vocals, drums, a couple guitar, bass, and violin. They went to the studio that evening to listen to the mix, make some adjustments, fix some vocals, and something that was new to me, record trombone into the song! That was interesting, but extremely cool to record. I was still observing at this point and wasn't doing anything with the mixing board, but Bruce is very helpful, answered all my questions, and would even ask my opinion.
