I thought Chapter three was very interesting! I went to the studio and Bruce and I went over my quiz answers, and the things that I was confused about. A lot of times I understand the material on paper and I can get answers right on the quiz, but if somebody told me to explain it, I just wouldn't be able to do it. Lucky for me, I get to have somebody not only explain it and help me understand better, but I get real life examples right there. I was a little confused by the analog-digital stuff. I think it is amazing how vinyl records are made, how they're analog and the sound waves are right there in the record. My good friend and I love listening to vinyl on his record player and the sound is beautiful! I can't believe how tapes are made either. It is insane.

Bruce showed me the difference between WAV and MP3 on pro tools. He put different effects on each to show me that an MP3 can sound alright, but it still does not have the same great quality that you get with WAV.
