I was kind of confused on what Patch Bays were but after meeting with Bruce it made more since than just looking at a book. He broke everything down using the equiptment in his own studio and also the school that he teaches at because it has a slightly different set due to different dated electronics. The cords were easier to understand also considering that i've used them all before and never knew what they were called.

Then he also explained the 3 different types of microphones Dynamic, Ribbon, and Condenser. Now that I look back through the chapter I can differentiate what frequency does each one has. All microphones use a TRS connection. He has many microphones but none are Ribbon because its really sensitive, expensive and doesn't take Phantom Power.
